The Silent Knight SD505-6RB is a 6-inch relay base that adds a controlled auxiliary output to an SD505-series addressable smoke detector, letting the detector itself trigger elevator recall, door closers, fan shutdown, or auxiliary notification when it goes into alarm. It mounts on a standard single-gang or larger electrical box, with the SD505 detector head and base attaching on top, and because it's an addressable device it can sit anywhere on the loop rather than needing a fixed position.
