The Simplex 2098-9603 is a TrueAlarm photoelectric smoke detector head designed to plug into Simplex's 2098-series bases (2098-9525 through 2098-9529), with on-board TrueAlarm drift compensation that monitors and filters the photoelectric chamber's readings to offset dust, dirt, and component aging over the life of the sensor.
