The Simplex 2190-9162 is a Signal ZAM (Zone Adapter Module), Style Y with a flush cover, that provides an addressable interface between a conventional zoned initiating circuit and a Simplex 4100/4120/4020 Series fire alarm control panel or transponder. It supervises the connected zone and reports alarm and trouble conditions back to the panel over the addressable loop, letting older conventional zone wiring integrate with an addressable system.
