Simplex 4009-9602 IDNAC Repeater

The Simplex 4009-9602 is an IDNAC (Intelligent Device Network Annunciator Circuit) Repeater designed to extend the power and communication range of Simplex fire alarm systems. Housed in a red cabinet, this device enhances system flexibility by increasing the allowable distance and device capacity on the IDNAC Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). 

Key Features:

• Extended SLC Capacity: Provides an additional 3 Amperes of SLC current, supporting up to 139 additional unit loads, thereby expanding the system’s capacity to accommodate more notification appliances. 

• Flexible Wiring Configurations: Supports various wiring options, including Class B multiple branch outputs and Class A loop extensions, allowing for adaptable system design to meet specific installation requirements. 

• Integrated Battery Charger: Equipped with an on-board battery charger capable of supporting up to 12.7 Ah batteries within the cabinet and up to 25 Ah batteries with an external battery cabinet, ensuring reliable operation during power outages. 

• Auxiliary Power Output: Offers a 200 mA, 29 VDC constant auxiliary output for powering additional devices, with operation maintained during battery backup scenarios.
