Simplex 4090-9005 Suppression Release Peripheral

The Simplex 4090-9005 is an IDNet addressable Suppression Release Peripheral (SRP) used with Simplex 4010ES and compatible fire alarm control units to provide supervised control of automatic extinguishing, deluge, and preaction sprinkler system actuators. It ships mounted on a mounting plate and requires the separately-ordered 2975-9227 mounting box.

Key Features:

• Dual Input Control Logic: Requires both an IDNet communications command and an activated notification appliance circuit (NAC) input before initiating a release, providing redundant activation control.

• Supervised Release Output: Provides a single Release Appliance Circuit (RAC) with wiring supervision, including coil continuity monitoring and short-circuit supervision through the required coil supervision module.

• Onboard Voltage Regulation: An integrated DC-DC regulator compensates for voltage drops to ensure proper control circuit voltage across a wide operating range.

• Actuator Output Capacity: Supports up to 2 A of actuator current when powered from a 4010ES 3 A NAC, or up to 1 A when powered from a 4009 IDNet NAC Extender.

• Broad Actuator Compatibility: Compatible with a wide range of UL-listed suppression valve and actuator manufacturers, including Ansul, ASCO, Skinner, Kidde, and others.
