Simplex 4090-9006 Suppression Release Peripheral w/NEMA 1 Red Box

The Simplex 4090-9006 is a Suppression Release Peripheral (SRP) shipped premounted in a bright red NEMA 1 enclosure for high-visibility, ULC-listed fire suppression release applications. It communicates with the fire alarm control panel over the IDNet addressable communication channel and provides releasing control for extinguishing/suppression systems.

Key Features:

• IDNet Communication: Connects to the FACP through the IDNet channel via terminal TB3, accepting 12-18 AWG wiring for reliable addressable supervision.

• Dual Command Control: Requires both an IDNet communications command and an activated NAC to initiate release, adding a layer of protection against false actuation.

• On-Board Voltage Regulation: An integrated DC-DC regulator compensates for voltage drop to the peripheral, maintaining proper control circuit voltage across a wide operating range.

• Releasing Output: Provides a single releasing appliance circuit (RAC) capable of controlling actuators up to 2 A from a 3 A NAC input (or 1 A from a 2 A NAC input).

• NEMA 1 Enclosure: Ships mounted in a red NEMA 1 box for ULC listing compliance and easy identification in the field.
