The Simplex 4098-9019 is an addressable reflective beam smoke detector system for Simplex IDNet fire alarm control panels, using an auto-aligning infrared beam to detect smoke across large open areas. The system ships as a three-piece kit -- a ground-level 4098-9020 controller, a 5000-031 detector head that projects the beam, and a 23901 prism reflector that returns it -- with one controller able to support up to two detector heads.
