The Simplex 4098-9407 is an addressable heat detector from the Simplex 4098 platform, providing thermal fire detection for compatible Simplex intelligent fire alarm control panels. Simplex's own installation instructions for the 4098 heat detector line specifically list the 4098-9407 alongside the -9408, -9409, and -9410 models, and caution against pairing any of these four with a 2098-9211 Current-Limited Base on alarm-verification circuits using a retard time greater than 15 seconds.
