Simplex 4098-9613 Heat Detector, 135°F Rate-of-Rise/Fixed Temperature

The Simplex 4098-9613 is an electronic heat detector head combining 135°F (57°C) fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise detection, using a thermistor-based sensing design to quickly and reliably identify hazardous temperature increases for property protection.

• Dual Detection Method: Combines 135°F fixed-temperature detection with rate-of-rise sensing (15–25°F/min, meeting FM requirements).

• Coverage Area: Provides quick-response detection over a 20 ft x 20 ft coverage area.

• Operating Range: Operates on 15–32 VDC (max 30% ripple), in ambient temperatures of 32–100°F and 10–95% RH.

• Base Compatibility: Compatible with Simplex 2-wire and 4-wire bases including 4098-9788, 4098-9682, 4098-9683, and 4098-9684.

• Legacy Part Note: This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer and superseded by the Simplex 4098-5610.
