The Simplex 4098-9681 is an addressable duct detector housing with integrated photoelectric smoke sensor that monitors air velocity through fire alarm system HVAC ducts. Connected to Simplex fire alarm control panels via MAPNET II twisted-pair communications, it provides reliable smoke detection in ducted air return and supply applications with automatic fail-safe operation.
