Simplex 4098-9682 TrueAlarm Detector Base with Relay Output
The 4098-9682 is a 4-wire mounting base designed for Simplex TrueAlarm smoke and heat detectors. It provides an auxiliary alarm relay output with Form C contacts for use with signaling devices or other fire alarm components requiring discrete relay switching.
Key Features:
• 4-Wire Operation: Separate power and alarm circuit paths
• Relay Output: Dual Form C contacts rated at 3A @28 VDC (power-limited) or 3A @120 VAC (non-power-limited)
• LED Indicator: Remote alarm indicating LED with color-coded 18 AWG leads
• IDC Connections: Screw terminals for 18-14 AWG in/out wiring
• Compatibility: Works with detectors: 4098-9612, 4098-9614, 4098-9602, and others
• Power Supply: Requires external 24 VDC for relay operation
