The Simplex 4098-9706 is an addressable duct detector housing that samples air passing through fire alarm system HVAC ducts to detect unacceptable levels of smoke. It connects to 4020, 4100+, or 4120 series fire alarm control panels via MAPNET II twisted-pair wiring, with 24VDC relay power supplied separately for controlling dampers or other field devices.
