Simplex 4098-9717 is an ionization smoke detector for TrueAlarm fire alarm systems using dual-chamber technology with radioactive source (Am-241) for stable operation under environmental fluctuations. Provides three selectable sensitivity levels for customized protection.

• Dual-Chamber Design: Outer sampling chamber + inner reference chamber for stable operation

• Three Sensitivity Levels: 0.5%, 0.9%, and 1.3% per foot obscuration

• Addressable Communications: MAPNET II or IDNet (auto-select)

• 24-40 VDC Operation: Typical current 400 µA, frost white housing

• Reconditioned Unit: Professionally refurbished to original specification; note that 4098-9714 is the current replacement model
