Simplex 4098-9754-RC TrueAlarm Photoelectric/Heat Multi-Sensor

The Simplex 4098-9754 is a TrueAlarm analog addressable multi-sensor that combines a photoelectric smoke sensor with a fast-acting thermal (heat) sensor in a single sensor/base assembly, for use with compatible Simplex addressable fire alarm control panels. This unit has been professionally reconditioned (RC) and tested prior to resale.

Key Features:

• Dual-Mode Detection: Alarm can be determined by smoke obscuration, fixed-temperature heat detection, or rate-of-rise heat detection, depending on how the sensor is programmed at the panel.

• Selectable Smoke Sensitivity: Software-programmable smoke sensitivity range of approximately 0.2%/ft to 3.7%/ft obscuration.

• Selectable Rate-of-Rise: Software-selectable rate-of-rise heat function at 15°F (8.3°C) or 20°F (11.1°C) per minute, plus selectable fixed-temperature ratings.

• Analog Addressable Communication: Continuously reports sensor status to the fire alarm control panel over the compatible signaling line circuit.

• Reconditioned Unit: Professionally reconditioned and functionally tested, offered as a cost-effective replacement multi-sensor for existing Simplex TrueAlarm systems.
