The Simplex 4098-9784 is a 4-inch addressable detector base for the TrueAlarm system, providing the mounting and communication interface for interchangeable TrueAlarm photoelectric, ionization, or heat sensors.
Key Features:
• Two-Wire Communication: Uses IDNet or MAPNET II two-wire addressable communication to carry both power and data between the sensor and the fire alarm control panel.
• DIP-Switch Addressing: Onboard DIP switches allow each base to be individually addressed.
• Interchangeable Sensors: Accepts different TrueAlarm sensor types, allowing sensors to be swapped to meet specific location requirements.
• Continuous Monitoring: Integral electronics digitize and transmit sensor status to the panel at regular intervals.
• Broad Panel Compatibility: Compatible with Simplex 4007ES, 4010, 4010ES, 4020, 4100, 4100U, 4100ES, and 4120 series control panels.
