Simplex 4098-9792E Base Sensor, E Series

The Simplex 4098-9792E is a TrueAlarm standard sensor base, "E" version, designed for extended exposure to high-humidity or wet environments. It accepts detachable TrueAlarm photoelectric, ionization, or heat sensors and provides digital communication of sensor status to the fire alarm control panel.

Key Features:

• Digital Sensor Communication: Integral addressable electronics constantly monitor the installed sensor and transmit its status to the panel every four seconds via IDNet or MAPNET II communications.

• Interchangeable Sensor Support: Compatible with TrueAlarm photoelectric, ionization, and heat sensor heads, allowing sensor type to be swapped in the field without reprogramming the base address.

• Base-Mounted Addressing: Address is set at the base and remains with its installed location, accessible from the front via a dipswitch under the sensor head.

• Tamper-Resistant Locking Design: Locking anti-tamper mounting with a magnetically operated functional test feature and an integral red LED for power, alarm, and trouble indication.

• Standard Mounting: Mounts to a 4" octagonal or 4" square box (1-1/2" minimum depth) or a single 4" gang box (2" minimum depth); compatible with 4007ES, 4010, 4010ES, 4100ES, 4008, 4020, 4100, and 4120 series panels.

• Humidity-Rated Construction: The "E" designation indicates suitability for extended exposure to high-humidity/wet locations beyond the standard base's rating.
