The Simplex 4098-9860 is a supervised relay module used with the TrueAlarm detector family, mounting either remotely or directly inside the electrical box of a compatible 4098-9780 detector base. It converts a TrueAlarm sensor's alarm or supervisory state into a dry-contact output, letting the fire alarm system drive auxiliary equipment such as door holders, dampers, or HVAC shutdown relays from the detector's own base.
