Simplex 4100-0625 Local Mode Transponder Interface Module
The Simplex 4100-0625 is the Local Mode Transponder Interface Module used in the Simplex 4100-9601 Local Mode MINIPLEX Transponder. It is mounted in Block A of the transponder bay and provides local, stand-alone fire alarm initiating and notification operation for a 4100ES MINIPLEX transponder in the event of a communications loss with the host fire alarm control panel.
Key Features:
• Function: Substitutes for the Basic Transponder Interface Module to add local mode operation to a MINIPLEX transponder
• Local Mode Operation: If communication with the host 4100ES control panel is lost, the transponder defaults to stand-alone response — activating notification appliance circuits and applying default alarm thresholds for connected initiating devices
• Communication: Uses Simplex Remote Unit Interface (RUI) communications back to the host control panel when connected
• Compatibility: For use with Simplex 4100ES Fire Control Panels and MINIPLEX transponder bay equipment
