Simplex 4100-3103 MAPNET II/IDNet Isolator Module
The Simplex 4100-3103 is a panel-mounted quad isolator module for MAPNET II communications, converting a single connected signaling line circuit (SLC) into four isolated outputs selectable as Class A or Class B. It is designed for use with Simplex 4100U/4100ES back boxes and is compatible only with MAPNET II remote isolators.
Key Features:
• Quad Isolation: Converts one SLC into four isolated output loops, protecting the rest of the circuit from opens or shorts on any single loop.
• Automatic Fault Isolation: Disconnects loops on which it senses a short circuit and continuously monitors for automatic reconnection once the fault clears.
• Class A Backup Path: On Class A wiring, an open on any loop energizes an internal relay that reroutes signal onto the return "B" line.
• Low Power Consumption: Draws 50 mA in both supervisory and alarm modes.
• Compact Footprint: Occupies a single card slot while using four MAPNET II/IDNet addresses.
