Simplex 4905-9839 Cosmetic Adapter Plate
The Simplex 4905-9839 is a white cosmetic adapter plate used to cover a flush-mounted 4 in. square electrical box when replacing a rectangular-housing audible/visible (A/V) appliance with a TrueAlert A/V or V/O appliance, in installations where a horn is no longer required.
Key Features:
• Wall Mount Coverage: Measures 7.95 in. x 5.91 in. x 0.06 in. (202 mm x 150 mm x 1.5 mm), sized to conceal the larger footprint of the previous rectangular housing.
• Flexible Orientation: Can be mounted horizontally or vertically to match the replacement appliance.
• NFPA 72 Compliant Reference: Simplex datasheet notes NFPA 72 mounting height requirements (lens between 80 in. and 96 in. above finished floor) for the appliance installed on the plate.
