Simplex 4905-9938 SmartSync Control Module
The Simplex 4905-9938 SmartSync Control Module (SCM) is a non-addressable module that converts two conventional notification appliance circuit (NAC) inputs into a single SmartSync two-wire NAC output, allowing synchronized strobe flash and horn control from a conventional fire alarm control panel.
Key Features:
• Independent Horn/Strobe Control: One NAC input can be programmed "on-until-silenced" for horn control, while a second NAC input is programmed "on-until-reset" for strobe control, allowing horns to be silenced without deactivating strobes.
• SmartSync Output: Delivers a once-per-second synchronization pulse on the NAC output to keep connected strobes flashing in unison.
• Expandable: Up to 8 SCMs can be interconnected for synchronized operation across a larger notification circuit.
• Compact Mounting: Measures approximately 4" x 4-1/8" x 1-1/4" deep and mounts in a standard 4" square electrical box.
