Simplex 49AO-WRF-BA Audible Notification Horn

The Simplex 49AO-WRF-BA is a TrueAlert ES addressable audible-only (A/O) electronic horn with a red cover and white "FIRE" lettering, assembled in the USA (-BA suffix). It receives power, supervision, and control signals directly from a Simplex fire alarm control panel over an IDNAC Signaling Line Circuit (SLC).

Key Features:

• Individually Addressed Operation: Controlled independently from visible appliances on the same SLC, with selectable Temporal Code 3, March Time (20/60/120 bpm), Continuous, or Temporal Code 4 patterns.

• Regulated IDNAC Power: Operates on a regulated 29 VDC IDNAC SLC, reducing current draw and extending allowable wiring distances compared to conventional notification circuits.

• Self-Test and Magnet Test Diagnostics: An on-board sensor detects horn output and reports status to the panel; a magnet test lets technicians verify appliance address and operation without opening the cover.

• Selectable Sound Output: High/low output level (~6 dBA difference) selectable at the appliance or from the fire alarm control panel.

• UL/ULC Listed, FM Approved: Listed to UL Standard 464 and ULC Standard S525 for reliable life-safety performance.
