Simplex 49AV-APPLW TrueAlert ES Addressable Horn/Strobe, Appliance Only

The Simplex 49AV-APPLW is a TrueAlert ES addressable audible/visible (A/V) notification appliance housing. It is individually addressed and receives power, supervision, and control signals from a Simplex fire alarm control unit over an IDNAC Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). The cover and matching mounting plate are ordered separately.

Key Features:

• Addressable IDNAC Operation: Powered and supervised over a two-wire IDNAC SLC at a regulated 29 VDC (23-31 VDC operating range), allowing separate visible and audible control on the same circuit

• Multi-Candela Strobe: Synchronized 1 Hz xenon strobe, selectable at 15, 30, 75, 110, 135, or 185 cd from the control panel or jumper

• Horn Output: Temporal Code 3, March Time (continuous), or Temporal Code 4, with selectable high/low output and 20, 60, or 120 beats-per-minute rates

• Diagnostics: Self-Test Mode and Magnet Test allow appliance checkout without leaving the control panel

• Requires Separately Ordered: Mounting plate (49MP-AVVOWR red or 49MP-AVVOWW white) and cover (e.g. 49AVC-WRFIRE)

• Wiring: Class B T-tap wiring supported; Class A requires in/out wiring; terminals accept 18 AWG to 12 AWG
