The Simplex 49AV-APPLW-O is the appliance-only housing for a TrueAlert ES weatherproof addressable audible/visible (A/V) notification appliance, rated for indoor and outdoor use. It receives power, supervision, and control from a Simplex fire alarm control unit over an IDNAC Signaling Line Circuit (SLC); a matching weatherproof mounting box and cover are ordered separately.
Key Features:
• Weatherproof Rating: NEMA 3R enclosure rated for extended temperature (-40°F to 150°F) and extended humidity (up to 98%) environments
• Addressable IDNAC Operation: Powered and supervised over a two-wire IDNAC SLC at a regulated 29 VDC, with T-tapped Class B wiring supported
• Multi-Candela Strobe: Synchronized 1 Hz xenon strobe with intensity selectable at 20, 30, or 75 cd
• Diagnostics: Self-Test Mode and Magnet Test for appliance checkout without leaving the control panel
• Requires Separately Ordered: A matching weatherproof mounting box (e.g. 49WPBB-AVVOWR red or 49WPBB-AVVOWW white) and a separate cover
