The Simplex 49AVH-APPLC-O is an individually addressed TrueAlert ES audible/visible (horn/strobe) notification appliance for ceiling mount weatherproof applications, powered and controlled from a Simplex fire alarm control unit IDNAC signaling line circuit. It is supplied as the appliance only, with a clear lens; cover and back box are ordered separately.
Key Features:
• Multi-Candela Strobe: Xenon strobe with synchronized 1 Hz flash rate, selectable at 110 cd, 135 cd, or 185 cd.
• IDNAC Addressable Operation: Individually addressed and controlled on a two-wire IDNAC SLC, with regulated 29 VDC supply for lower current draw.
• Selectable Horn Output: Temporal Code 3, March Time, Continuous, or Temporal Code 4 patterns, with high/low volume selection (~5 dBA difference).
• Self-Test and Magnet Test Diagnostics: On-board sensors detect horn/strobe output and report status to the control unit for simplified checkout.
• Dimensions: 8 1/8 in. H x 7 1/8 in. W x 3 in. D (206 mm x 180 mm x 76 mm) with cover installed.
