The Simplex 49SO-APPLW is a wall-mount TrueAlert ES addressable speaker (S/O) notification appliance housing. It is individually powered, addressed, and controlled over a Simplex IDNAC Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), with audio supplied by a separate compatible fire alarm audio NAC. The cover, mounting plate, and any surface or weatherproof back box are ordered separately.
Key Features:
• Audio Output: High quality voice and tone reproduction with selectable taps of 1/4 W, 1/2 W, 1 W, or 2 W at 25 VRMS or 70.7 VRMS; frequency response of 400 Hz to 4000 Hz
• Wiring Supervision: Both audio and IDNAC SLC wiring are electronically supervised and support T-tapped Class B wiring to reduce wiring costs
• Diagnostics: Magnet Test diagnostics assist with appliance checkout, and the TrueAlert device report provides point ID, custom label, and setting details at the control panel
• Requires Separately Ordered: Cover, mounting plate (49MP-SOWR red or 49MP-SOWW white), and surface or weatherproof back box if needed
• Compliance: Compliant with NFPA 72 520 Hz low-frequency signal requirements for sleeping areas
