Simplex 49VO-APPLC-BA Ceiling Mount Addressable Visible-Only Strobe (Appliance Only)
The Simplex 49VO-APPLC-BA is an individually addressed TrueAlert ES visible-only (V/O) notification appliance for indoor ceiling mount applications, powered and controlled from a Simplex fire alarm control unit IDNAC signaling line circuit. It is supplied as the appliance only, with a clear lens; cover is ordered separately. The -BA suffix indicates the unit is assembled in the USA.
Key Features:
• Multi-Candela Strobe: Xenon strobe with synchronized 1 Hz flash rate, selectable at 15 cd, 30 cd, 75 cd, or 110 cd.
• IDNAC Addressable Operation: Individually addressed and controlled on a two-wire IDNAC SLC, with regulated 29 VDC supply for lower current draw.
• Self-Test and Magnet Test Diagnostics: On-board sensors detect strobe output and report status to the control unit for simplified checkout.
• ADA Compatible: Strobe operation listed to UL Standard 1971 and ULC Standard S526, compatible with ADA requirements.
• Mounting: Mounts on 4 in. square electrical boxes (adapter plate required for single gang boxes).
