The Simplex 562-894 is an audio control board used in the legacy Simplex 4100 fire alarm control panel's emergency voice/alarm communications system. It manages digitized tones and voice message playback for the panel's audio network.
Key Features:
• 4100 Audio System Integration: Interfaces with the legacy 4100 Audio Controller Network to drive tone and voice message output to the system's speaker circuits.
• Legacy Compatibility: Supports upgrade/interconnection paths between legacy 4100 audio hardware and newer 4100U/4100ES analog audio risers (which use a 10 VRMS riser standard) via an isolation/step-down transformer.
• Replacement/Service Part: Used to service or replace a failed audio control board in an existing 4100 voice/alarm installation.
This is a professionally reconditioned (RC) unit, refurbished and tested prior to resale.
