The Simplex 566-227 is the Master (CPU) Motherboard for the 4100U / 4100ES fire alarm control panel. It houses the panel's CPU card and network interface card (NIC) and mounts in the first bay of the cabinet, forming the central processing hub of the system.

Key Features:

• Central Processing: Serves as the master motherboard that carries the CPU card responsible for system logic, addressable device communication, and event processing for the 4100U/4100ES platform.

• NIC Support: Provides the mounting and interconnect for the network interface card used in networked 4100U/4100ES installations.

• Cabinet Mounting: Occupies the right-hand side of the first bay, integrating directly with the panel's backplane and expansion architecture.
