The Simplex 650-1838 is a flat SDACT mounting bracket used inside 4007ES fire alarm control panel cabinets. It mounts the Serial Digital Alarm Communicating Transmitter (SDACT) in the lower right corner of the cabinet, and its flat profile is specifically required in place of the standard angled SDACT bracket whenever a fiber media card or Network Interface Card is also installed in the panel, since the angled version interferes with those cards.
