The Simplex 742-346 is a CPU board used in the Simplex 4009A NAC (Notification Appliance Circuit) panel, commonly deployed as an IDNet extender or NAC expansion panel connected to a Simplex 4009-9201 enclosure.

• NAC Panel Processing: Provides the control logic and processing needed to manage NAC circuits and IDNet communications for the 4009A panel.

• Power Support: Supports 120 VAC primary power with 24 VDC battery backup for continuous operation.

• Expansion Capability: Supports Class B NAC circuits with expansion options for Class A fault-tolerant circuits, additional NACs, IDNet repeater functions, and fiber optic communication modules.

• Replacement/Service Part: Used to service or replace a failed CPU board in an existing 4009A NAC panel installation.
