The Space Age SSU00672 is a red steel fire alarm documents box (model FDB) built to hold the as-built drawings, sequence of operations, and other records a fire alarm system requires on site. It's built from 16-gauge powder-coated steel with a piano-hinged cover and a keyed lock, and includes hardware for keeping keys and contact cards with the documents.
