The System Sensor 2151 is a photoelectric, low-profile plug-in smoke detector head listed under UL 268A specifically for air-handling/duct applications, intended for use in ducts and air-handling systems where airflow is too low for a standard duct smoke detector housing. It plugs into a compatible B114LP or B114LPBT mounting base and is rated to operate reliably at air velocities up to 3,000 feet per minute, making it suitable for small ducts (down to 8 in. diameter) or locations with air velocity below 500 fpm.
