The System Sensor 2300B is a 2-wire photoelectric smoke detector built around a patented optical sensing chamber, operating on 12/24 VDC and installing onto a plug-in terminal block base. The base is prewired first, then the 2300B snaps into place, so replacing or servicing the detector head doesn't require re-wiring the circuit.
