The System Sensor B501-WH is a 4 in. flangeless plug-in detector base used to mount 200, 300, and 400 Series System Sensor smoke and heat detector heads onto an intelligent addressable fire alarm circuit. Communication between the detector head and the panel takes place over the same two power wires (+ and -), so the base needs no separate signaling conductors, and its twist-lock mechanism secures the detector head without extra hardware.

Technical Specifications
- Mounts to a 4 in. square box with plaster ring, 3-1/2 in. octagon box, or 50/60/70mm center boxes
- Wiring: 18 AWG minimum recommended signal wire, up to 12 AWG accepted
- 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from date of manufacture

- Detectors installed on this base must be tested and maintained per NFPA 72 or CAN/ULC-S536 requirements
