The System Sensor B501BH is a plug-in sounder base that mounts a compatible 200 Series detector head and adds a built-in horn for local notification at the detector location. The base drives the horn from an external 24VDC supply wired for reverse polarity (or through a relay module configured to reverse power), producing greater than 90 dBA measured at 10 feet in an anechoic room; when several B501BH bases are wired together as a UL-approved group, any unit whose LED is latched into alarm by the panel causes the other bases in that group to sound as well.
