The System Sensor B501BHT-2 is a Temporal Tone sounder base used under System Sensor 200 and 500 Series intelligent detector heads, adding an integral audible sounder at the detector location. It needs an external 24VDC supply with reverse-polarity capability, or a relay module that reverses power, to drive the sounder, and UL has approved grouping up to six B501BHT bases together on one horn circuit.
