The System Sensor D2 is a 2-wire photoelectric duct smoke detector from the InnovairFlex line, built to sample airflow directly inside HVAC ductwork rather than open room air. Its pivoting housing mounts to round, square, or rectangular ducts, and its photoelectric sensor detects smoke in airflows from 100 to 4,000 feet per minute to shut down air handling equipment or trigger evacuation before smoke recirculates through a building.

- Cover tamper feature reports a trouble condition if the sensor cover is removed or improperly seated
- Locally testable via magnetic switch, or remotely testable using a System Sensor RTS451KEY remote test station
- Extra wiring space with an added 3/4" conduit knockout
